History: On July 3, 2015, the following amateur radio operators met and formed the Paradise Amateur Radio Society: Chris Pickett WA6CP, Kevin Fullerton KB7SKS, Joseph Cawood KF7LPU and Steven Hille KD6TRN, (owner of the Paradise UPS store at that time. The first meeting place of the Society) On July 06, 2015 the FCC issued KK6VDU as the society call sign. On April 27, 2016 the FCC authorized the call sign W6PAR.
Our Mission: Our mission is to promote radio knowledge, conduct programs and activities to further the exchange of information and cooperation among members and to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio Service.
Our commitment: The Paradise Amateur Radio Society is dedicated to education, public service and recreational purposes of amateur radio and to elevate the standards of operating practices and ethics in amateur radio. We are committed to serve the communities in which we live, promoting public awareness and knowledge regarding all forms of amateur radio communications. We hope the amateur radio community will continue to grow and continue to support the Paradise and Magalia communities.
